Volunteer-to-Paid Relational Organizer
Role Summary: We are seeking ‘Volunteer-to-Paid Relational Organizers' to mobilize your friends and family via text message, social media, phone, or in-person, in support of a Job Guarantee for the upcoming New Jersey 2025 Election and beyond.
Potential Compensation & Pathway to Paid Positions: $4000/month for volunteers who advance to a Paid Relational Organizer position.
This role begins as an unpaid volunteer position. While we cannot guarantee a paid position, strong volunteers will be given hiring preference, designated as priority candidates, and will be the first to be notified when paid positions become available. Our ability to offer paid positions depends on organizational growth and funding. Volunteers who contribute meaningfully will receive priority consideration when positions are created.
Location: Hybrid (Remote + optional field work in New Jersey for in-person meetings and events) - reimbursements and stipends for travel expenses, including car mileage and food, will be provided.
Commitment: Flexible schedule. Part-time volunteer with a pathway to a paid independent contractor position.
Experience Level: All are welcome! Whether you have zero political experience, lack an educational background in politics, or are a seasoned political professional. There is a need for you at FEN-PAC to help build a political movement around a Job Guarantee.

We are seeking ‘Volunteer-to-Paid Relational Organizers' to mobilize New Jersey voters around a State Job Guarantee for the upcoming 2025 Election and beyond.
A State Job Guarantee would establish pilot programs that create living-wage jobs for people who cannot find full-time work. These jobs would focus on fixing our communities, caring for people in need, supporting schools, and other public services that benefit everyone.
What Does a ‘Volunteer-to-Paid Relational Organizer’ Do?
People are much more likely to take action on an issue when the information comes from someone they know and trust. This approach is known as 'relational organizing.
As a ‘Volunteer-to-Paid Relational Organizer,’ you will be contacting your friends and family via text message, social media, phone, or in-person, to share information and fundraising content in support of a Job Guarantee in New Jersey.
Here’s how it works:
1. Free Virtual Training: Our free one-hour online training sessions will provide you with the digital tools, information, and support you need to connect with your friends and family through text messages, phone calls, social media, email, or in-person conversations.
2. Flexible Schedule: organizer remotely from anywhere in New Jersey, on your own time.
3. Share Content: share informational content and ‘calls to action’ with your friends and family to mobilize voters in support of Job Guarantee policies!
